Working with schools
It starts the way every good community project starts: by listening.
X-Factor-Ed isn’t a package dropped on a school. Harry gets to know your school as it is, then helps you build on what’s already working.

What an engagement looks like
- 1. A conversation. A 30-minute call about your school and what you’d like to change or improve.
- 2. Time in your school. Harry spends time with staff, students and parents to see what’s working and what isn’t.
- 3. Proposals. Written recommendations on student leadership, programs and service projects, including what to start now and what to hold back.
- 4. A six-month program. Harry coaches the staff you nominate to run it, with online contact between visits and a review at six months.
- 5. Optional: a Peru expedition ‘…with a purpose’. A trip that also trains your teachers to run experiences like it themselves.
What your school provides
- A senior leader who backs it publicly
- Named staff to lead it day to day
- Time in the calendar, planned well ahead
- A willingness to hand students real responsibility
What it costs
Every engagement is shaped around the school, so fees are agreed with each school once we understand what you need. Trips have their own stated price.
When to talk
Most schools set next year’s budgets between August and October, and trips are usually planned a year ahead.
Start with a conversation.
Tell us about your school. Harry reads every enquiry himself and will reply personally.
